OBJECTS 002: TRAVIS SPINKS 'CHAIN OF CRATERS'
Together with @travis.spinks we are releasing 10 unique iterations of the GORE-TEX ‘Chain of Craters’ 3L Jackets from ACG. Travis Spinks is a Brooklyn based artist who’s unique style of airbrushing on mainly lightweight down and shell jackets has been making waves the last couple of years. When asked what motivates him, his simple answer “surviving”, tells you a lot about who he is.
From exhibitions to clothing celebrities like Drake, Travis navigates between traditional fine art and innovative design.His classic motif of lightning bolts, often on GORE-TEX jackets caught our eye a few years ago and we knew we wanted to do something with him down the line. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind airbrushed by Travis in his Brooklyn Studio.
