The fall of 2024 marked a significant milestone for KA YO, we introduced our first proprietary brand, KA_YO_Prototype, debuting with the collection KA_YO_Prototype_001. After nearly two years of dedication, we were beyond excited to finally share this collection. Every material, pocket, shape, hood, and zipper has been meticulously selected, refined, and reworked—again and again—until it met our exacting standards. Only when every detail felt truly right did we know it was ready.

The inspiration came from the very elements that define our home. The deep silent forests, where the air is crisp and the ground is rugged. A relentless climate that shapes everything it touches. The collection also takes cues from the Solaris grape—a variety renowned for its ability to thrive and ripen in Sweden’s harsh environment. Each piece is crafted with materials that embody KA YO’s core values of uncompromising performance, durability, and aesthetics designed to excel in all conditions.
KA_YO_Prototype_001 features a range of lightweight yet durable pieces engineered for rugged trails. Reflective prints enhance visibility in low-light conditions, and a color palette carved from the rugged mountains and forests of the Nordics.

To celebrate this launch, KA YO opened an exclusive pop-up store at Nybrogatan 9, where the full collection was available for purchase. The space also served as the venue for the KA_YO_Prototype_001 launch party, bringing together friends and family for an intimate first look at this exciting new chapter.
